Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Today (Monday, June 3) was our first day of filming, and what a day it was.
The first video we shot today was in the town of Le Tholonet. The 85-year old Monsignor at the local church has been a friend to the ICC-E ministry for two decades and he graciously let us use his garden for the setting. Upon our arrival, he exclaimed “The Protestants are here!” The garden was the perfect environment to proclaim the promise in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
This was the view to reveal the truth in Psalm 121, that our help comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth.
The second set of the day was at the foot of Mont Ste Victoire, a beautiful mountain that has a cross erected prominently at the top. This was the view to reveal the truth in Psalm 121, that our help comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth. The property where we shot the scene belongs to the first test pilot of the Concorde jet. He is now 91-years old and was thrilled to meet so many people and to see so much activity at his place.
From a practical standpoint, we ask that you pray for the following:
- Our team members. Two have been sick so far and we pray that there will be no more.
- Communication. The main language spoken on the set is Arabic, but many of us don’t speak it so please pray for clear communication.
- Weather. It was perfect today, and is forecast to be without rain for the rest of the week. Praise God for this answered prayer!
- Rest. Today was an extremely long day (15 hours as I type and still more work to do to prepare for tomorrow). All indications are that each day will be like this and we’ll need to find the energy to continue on at this pace.
