It’s rare that a really good conference comes within an hour of Huntington, WV. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen–I’ve been to some really good ones–I’m just saying it’s rare.
That’s why I’m excited to attend the upcoming “Appalachia Conference on Theology and the Church” (click on link for conference information and online registration). It will be in Charleston next Friday (with registration starting at 6:00 p.m.) and Saturday (with late registration at 8:00 a.m., and the first session at 10:00 a.m.). That’s November 4th and 5th.
The conference is sponsored by the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals (ACE); this is a really solid group; I’d trust anything they put out there.
